Health Guarantee & Contract

1.) Wendover Terriers guarantees the puppy to be pure bred, pedigreed, and register-able/recordable with one of the following: JRTCA, UKC or AKC.    

2.) Puppy may be checked by a veterinarian of your choice within 72 hrs and should vet find the pup ill, or not as represented, a full refund of the purchase price will be given upon the immediate return. To further guarantee your new puppy is protected against any unexpected accident or illness when they first go home, we’ve partnered with Trupanion to offer an exclusive benefit of 30 days of medical insurance for your puppy.  The offer is an automatic benefit for you, with no cost during the first 30 days, and no commitment to continue. Though it is not required, we do strongly encourage staying on for longer term coverage. Though we guarantee the health of your puppy, the Trupanion policy will guard against viruses such as the deadly Parvo virus, puppy Bordatella, stress caused parasite flare ups, accidents and  any genetic or hereditary conditions and breed related tendencies that cannot be completely protected against. Activation of your offer must be done the day before or up to the 24 hrs after puppy goes home and information on the offer and activation process will be provided.  Thank you for helping to ensure the long-term health and happiness of your brand new family member! All our families are required to have insurance for the first 30 days while the puppy transitions into their new home.  If no insurance is carried during this time, it will void this portion of our health guarantee.

3.) Puppy is further guaranteed until 1 year of age against all fatal and life threatening congenital diseases which adversely affects the health of the animal.  This guarantee does not cover incorrect bites, undescended testicles, parasites/worms common to puppies, undesirable ear sets, as well as any purely cosmetic issues.  In the event of a serious life threatening condition, if reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy.  Seller must be notified within 5 days of vet diagnosis.  Replacement credit will be given in the amount of original price of puppy upon return of original puppy only.  

4.) Wendover Terriers cannot guarantee specific coat type or size at maturity.  All puppies under 16 weeks old are sold strictly as pets with no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the pup in the future or obtain full JRTCA (show/breeding) registration.

5.) Pick up, shipping & transport arrangements are the sole responsibility of buyers.  We can however recommend private pet nanny services for air travel & delivery.  All arrangements are to be made directly with the transporter of buyer’s choice and Seller has no affiliation with these services.   We are not responsible for flight delays, transport complications, or the puppy once the puppy leaves our possession.

6.) If for some reason, ever, the Buyer cannot provide a permanent home for this dog, Wendover Terriers is willing to assist in efforts to rehome the terrier.  The Buyer is not entitled to any refund of money or expenses, if owner surrenders or rehomes their dog.

7.) The Seller will not be responsible under any circumstances for any veterinary bills incurred by Buyer.  All transportation costs are to be paid by Buyer, including those incurred if the terrier is returned.

8.) This contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of California, in the county of Riverside.  It is agreed that the place of venue shall be Riverside County, CA
