Puppy Health Guarantee and Contract

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PURCHASE OF YOUR NEW PUPPY!!! EVERYTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO ENSURE THAT HE/SHE GETS THE BEST START POSSIBLE. THE PUP HAS BEEN STARTED ON ITS VACCINATIONS SERIES, BEEN REGULARLY TREATED FOR THE PREVENTION/TREATMENT OF INTERNAL PARASITES, AND GIVEN LOTS OF T.L.C.
1.) Wendover Terriers guarantees the puppy to be pure bred, pedigreed, and register-able/recordable with one of the following: JRTCA, UKC or AKC.
2.) The puppy may be checked by a veterinarian of your choice within 72 hours. If the vet finds the pup ill or not as represented, a full refund of the purchase price will be given upon immediate return. To further ensure your new puppy's health and provide peace of mind, we’ve partnered with Trupanion to offer an exclusive benefit of 30 days of medical insurance for your puppy. This puppy health contract is an automatic benefit for you, with no cost during the first 30 days, and no commitment to continue. Though it is not required, we do strongly encourage staying on for longer-term coverage. Thank you for helping to ensure the long-term health and happiness of your brand new family member!
3.) The puppy is further guaranteed until 1 year of age against all fatal and life-threatening congenital diseases that adversely affect the health of the animal. This puppy warranty does not cover incorrect bites, undescended testicles, parasites/worms common to puppies, undesirable ear sets, as well as any purely cosmetic issues. In the event of a serious life-threatening condition, if the reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy. The Seller must be notified within 5 days of the vet diagnosis. Replacement credit will be given in the amount of the original price of the puppy upon return of the original puppy only.
4.) Wendover Terriers cannot guarantee specific coat type or size at maturity. All puppies under 16 weeks old are sold strictly as pets, with no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the pup in the future or obtain full JRTCA (show/breeding) registration.
5.) Pick up & transport arrangements are the sole responsibility of buyers.
6.) If for some reason the Buyer cannot provide a permanent home for this dog, Wendover Terriers is willing to assist in efforts to rehome the terrier. The Buyer is not entitled to any refund of money or expenses if the owner surrenders or rehomes their dog.
7.) The Seller will not be responsible under any circumstances for any veterinary bills incurred by the Buyer. All transportation costs are to be paid by the Buyer, including those incurred if the terrier is returned.
8.) This contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of California, in the county of Riverside. It is agreed that the place of venue shall be Riverside County, CA.
